The staff at the AV Dental Associates of Jersey City is so friendly and professional. Ernesto, the dental hygienist, was gentle and thorough when cleaning my teeth. Raul and Dr. Yu took their time explaining every step to me which made me feel at ease. It was the most comfortable dental experience I've ever had and I highly recommend them!

If you're looking for a dentist in Jersey City, RUN don't WALK to Dr. V! After a really bad experience at a different dentist in the city that left me in excruciating pain for months, for the first time in my life, I was terrified of the dentist office. After tons of reviews and research, I gave AV Dental a try...best decision ever. I had a tooth that fractured so deep it became infected, in real life most dentists would be a hard stop at extraction. Not Dr. V, he gave me all of my options, was very transparent about the financial aspect and long term results, and when I wasn't ready to go with a dental implant he respected my wish for a root canal and did the most incredible job! I'd never had such an abrasive procedure done, but he left me painless and made sure I had a back up plan with pain meds just in case. Not only is he honest about what can wait and what should be done right away, he aims to align with your priorities (cosmetic, financial, timing, etc). He has gone above and beyond for me every time, even if that meant squeezing me around his time-off, and I'm so grateful. The bonus is he's friendly, funny, and very kind. Which brings me to his office staff, from the dental assistants to the front desk, they are all so friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and really sweet. The amazing front desk will help you map out the best plan for insurance coverage, finance options, and timing without sacrificing your oral health. I had a cleaning done today, and not only does my mouth feel GREAT the service was consistent with all of my other visits, they make me feel right at home. As long as distance permits, I will not being going anywhere else. Thank you Dr. V & AV Dental fam, y'all are THE BEST! <3

We do not do sedation for only one tooth. You should look for an oral surgeon. Best of luck
By sleep mode do you mean IV sedation?
Yes, the cost can range anywhere from 120 to 300 depending on the size of the cavity without insurance. Also please be aware that at least 50% of times large cavities can not be fixed with fillings and root canals and crowns are the necessary treatment. The only way to know is do to a dental exam and xrays to determine the size of the cavity and the necessary treatment

Yes we do, without insurance the cost is 1100 for molars, around 900 for premolars and around 700 for anterior teeth. We also do have an in office discount plan that reduces these fees bya couple of hundred dollars. You can text the office at 201 484 7759 or call the same number for more detail. We are closed last week of August . We do return phone calls in a timely manner but we do reply to text right away
Yes we most impacted wisdom teeth. Some cases however are too complicated and have to be referred out to a surgical only facility but that's only 5% of the cases or so.

We do accept all PPOs including guardian (please make sure it's not an HMO). unfortunately we do not accept any Medicaid anymore
