I've been with Woodforest for almost 15 years. Told friends and family about this bank and the wonderful service they offer. But absolutely NOT THIS BRANCH. I was told I could NOT deposit a check into my business account as it was written out to me personally. Then, I was told I could not cash the check and put the cash into my business account. WTH???. The business account is set up as partnership...both "partners" were there, both with our ID on hand. WE ALSO HAVE PERSONAL ACCOUNTS too. Called Texas head quarters twice.... finally got a call back from this branch manager saying THEY we're in the right and would not deposit my check...but would have a follow up call from assistant to apologize and explain again why not. Never received a call back. I drove to Aberdeen branch....they not only deposited my check ..they THANKED ME for doing business with them....and warned me to STAY AWAY FROM ASHEBORO BRANCH....

Very disappointed in this bank they don't care they are always too busy talking to each other not doing there job...

Absolutely useless having an account at this bank. Stand in line for 30 mins only to be told they won't cash my check. Never in my life have I known a bank not to cash a check for someone who holds an account with that bank. Will be closing that account down ASAP and switching banks
