Nice easy 2 mile round trip hike from the Trail head to the first water fall. Next time I'll remember bug spray but other than that a few steep climbs but easy for a beginner.

I have been coming here for 24 years, the trash up there now is beyond disgusting, filled up whole backpack with trash. Our car was attempted to be broken into as well. They have added porta potties and trash cans to help alleviate the waste, not sure its helping though. The water felt great on a hot day, waterfall is always awesome, not too much water right now but still nice little get away from the heat

It's a very beautiful wonderful Trail I highly recommend it for families you can spend a great day there and just enjoy yourselves beautiful quiet peaceful plenty to see plenty to do.

Right now, in March, the trail is covered on snow and not passable.

Hard to say....it's a drought year, but there usually is still some water.
There is no cost to enter Lewis Creek...just show up and enjoy, and please remember to Pack It In and Pack It Out! thank you!
Yes, but not many places to swim. You can get in up to your knees in most places. Be careful in places more than that, as currents can be deceiving.
There were people swimming in a little swimming hole above the first waterfall. But for the most part it's not deep enough to actually swim
If you enter using the Lewis Creek north trailhead it's only 10min walk to waterfall 😉
You can try but it iui s a busy trail and nkt a lot of room to cast
