I wish I could give it less than one star. The wait and service is and was horrible. We sat and waited for a table for 20 minutes without being acknowledged, now granted it was busy so I'm giving them a little slack. Two of us ordered the fish fry, the wait was long as well for that. The fish was overcooked and the Mac was fridge cold. The wings were good and the burger was good. The fries were mediocre. We came again another night, trivia night, there were only three tables, one was pretty much done eating and receiving their check, the other playing trivia, and the last eating. There were two waiters, one waiting and the other operating the trivia and serving since it was slow. We waited for a about about 10-12 minutes and they saw us and didn't bother. Then finally the waiter setting up trivia came and asked if we were looking to play the game, we say no, he says and I quote "Okay bye!" And doesn't seat us, or anything as if we didn't even exist. It was a Tuesday night and slow, there was no reason for that at all. I can name several things that would help this place out a lot and they are simple things. This place is a great place if you are in absolutely no hurry at all and want appetizer type food. It's not worth the price in my opinion, or the wait, and since it's a 50/50 shot on what your getting into honestly, it's not worth it. I, almost, prefer the old "Waneta Inn" compared to "The Boathouse". Now "The Boathouse " is much cleaner and nicer, physically speaking, than the old one, I do give it credit there, that's about the only one up it has. I hope this helps others, I'm not trying to be mean or nasty, I'm just being honest and this was very frustrating and heartbreaking for this place. I hope they turn it around, or it'll go under just like "Waneta Inn".

Nice friendly atmosphere. Clean, good service. Food was good but not anything special. Drinks were inexpensive.

Great experience, i was at the old Inn several times but the new improvements make this small lake establishment a nice place get away to. Food was good and the service was great. A new bartender (first night) and she did great. Friendly environment, looking forward to the new boat docks being put in snd for summer time weather. Prices are high but this is not the Inn's doing, this is the effects of a government and their haphazard spending and not caring about the people they represent.

These people were very attentive and on top of everything. There were probably close to 175 people that were there and the wait staff were fast. We only waited about 20 minutes for what we ordered.. Big thanks to them! We got a pitcher and went around asking for tips for these people to split among them. Bravo to them for taking care of all of us.❤
