The ACMUA has an web site with all the paperwork that you need to do business. And are able to have e-mails answered through the customer care request.

In the middle of trying to close on a property in AC. I reached out to the water dept. on a Wed concerning multiple water issues I was having, no water, NO METER at property. I could not get answers from the buyers agent. I called during Covid so the Municipal office was short staffed but the woman who answered patiently listened to me and told me a supervisor would call me back...Next day Ms. S. called me! She explained why there was no meter and what needed to be done to reinstate service, she was on the phone for over 20 minutes with me , she also called back an hour later with what the estimated quarterly water bill would be. There are good people still walking this planet. THANK YOU!

I called because we had discolored water in our toilet, sink, shower. Anyway, I was put on hold for maybe 1 minute and was greeted by a polite representative. They were able to explain the situation, (there was a system wide flush in my area on all the hydrants), and they referred me to their website which gave more information on the matter. I called around 1030am on a Monday.

I called for a simple answer to a simple question and the female employee that answered the phone was not very pleasant, very condescending. No customer service skills what so ever.

Why do the rates for water continue to go up? They were stable for years now they rise every year

The rates at the ACMUA have risen due the new regulations put upon the agency to upgrade all water infrastructure by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
