Are they giving food stamps because of the storm. I have not been able to go to work because of the flooding and i need help.

Federal and state SNAP rules provide for replacement of food lost by individual SNAP recipients due to "household misfortune." Household misfortune includes fire, flood, loss of electricity, equipment (refrigerator/freezer) failure or other disaster. Fill out the Lost form for food and turn it back into them... It takes less that 3 mins to fill out
