So open, warm, and friendly to new people! Especially families.

Been a member since I was 8 or 9 years old! My mom's family has been in the church since the late 1800's I believe! Very faithful in their faith of the church! Especially my late grandmother Connie Hiatt Clark! She adored the church very much! But I will see her and my dad again real soon!

We moved to this area during the Covid-19 shutdowns and I cannot tell you how loving and welcoming the members of this congregation were to us! Since we were not meeting personally, they reached out in so many creative ways to welcome us to the area. We now attend weekly Sunday Sacrament meetings where the a Spirit of the Lord can be felt! Our children have attended weekday activities and Summer camps that have helped them develop personally in so many ways. It means so much to us to have these people in our lives during these uncertain times! This is a place where you can find peace and true joy.:)

The Sabbath is the Lord’s day, set apart each week for rest and worship. In Old Testament times, God’s covenant people observed the Sabbath on the seventh day of the week because God rested on the seventh day when He had created the earth (see Genesis 2:2). After the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which occurred on the first day of the week (see Mark 16:2), the Lord’s disciples began observing the Sabbath on the first day of the week, Sunday (see Acts 20:7).
In addition to the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It contains the writings of ancient prophets, giving an account of God’s dealings with the peoples on the American continent. For Latter-day Saints it stands alongside the Old and New Testaments of the Bible as holy scripture.
Why do you worship on Sunday? Is not the sabbath
Latter-day Saints most commonly use the term “Godhead” to refer to the Trinity. The first article of faith for the Latter-day Saints reads: “We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.” Latter-day Saints believe God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are one in will and purpose but are not literally the same being or substance, as conceptions of the Holy Trinity commonly imply.
Yes. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a Christian church but is neither Catholic nor Protestant. Rather, it is a restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ as originally established by the Savior in the New Testament of the Bible.
