The lady that runs this place is mean! I bought a brand new machine from a different sewing shop but needed some help to show me how to thread it. She said she would have to charge me, which is understandable, I guess, but the reason is what got me: because “time is money, honey!” She was so rude about it. Anyways, don’t waste your time here, go elsewhere.

Shortly after moving to Greenville, I dropped my sewing machine and serger off for servicing and repair on 3/9/22 and was curtly informed that there were 13 machines ahead of mine and I would have to wait. I don’t mind waiting. I called the end of May to check on their status and was assisted by the same staff member. I was told they weren’t ready in a tone that invited no further questions. I let it go. June 23, I called again and was helped by Faye, the owner. She was friendly and apologetic, explaining health and staffing issues…I have family members who have run small businesses, I understood completely. She said she’d start on them that afternoon. 👍🏻 July 21 , I stop in to make some purchases. She helped with my batting. She couldn’t answer my thread questions but another customer was able to help me. Faye was so kind to my kids. At the end of my visit, I inquire on my machines and she says she’ll start that afternoon. 👍🏻 Later that evening, after hours, I get a call from her that my sewing machine plate, bobbin basket, and sewing machine feet are all missing, she hasn’t touched the machine before then, and she’s already looked for the pieces. Her tone was defensive and she offered no solutions or apologies. She states there is no way they could have lost them. I respond that I did drop the machines off with all those parts and that they weren’t in my home as she suggested. After sharing I was devastated and didn’t know how to respond and that it was a high school graduation gift from my family, she suddenly started looking harder and could find the pieces tucked away in a box. July 22 I arrive at opening. I get my 4 year old and 10 mo old out of the car (as any parent of littles knows, this takes time) I try the door and it’s locked. The owner rolls up in her truck and my kids and I wait patiently in the heat as she sits in her truck for about 5 minutes. When we get in, my machine is on the workbench. She is struggling to reattach the plate. The power cord is nowhere near the machine. The cover is not on my Viking but on a Pfaff machine in a completely different room. I was so relieved to get all my pieces and both my machines back into my car. I am disappointed by this experience. She had been kind to me and my children on our visit for batting and thread and she has some good products in store. I will not be back though. The level of disorganization was distressing. They demonstrated that they could not be responsible for another’s property nor did they demonstrate basic courtesy or resolution skills for their mistakes.

I love this shop! the People are so nice! I bought my new machine from her and she spent many hours talking to me about the machines!

Walked into store, stood there. Two men sitting near the door and a woman sitting near. Finally the woman asked her if she could help me. I stated my situation. She asked her husband if he could work on it. He was busy talking to his friend, she called his name again. He quickly replied, barely looking at it.He said since it was an older machine too many parts. I covered it up and walked out.
