There's a reason this is the cheapest hotel in the Rochester area. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIRD-PARTY! Due to a check in mishap, the front desk team member said she would upgrade us to a really good room. We're fairly certain she downgraded us due to the inconvenience caused at check-in. The room, and lobby, smelled heavily of smoke. The AC wasn't working in the room when we arrived on a 96 degree day. I was able to rig the AC to work and we left the space for five hours in hopes of the AC taking care of some of the smell. Upon returning, the room still smelled awful. There was no smoke detector. Instead, there was a spot for a smoke detector with exposed, bare wiring. Half of the lights did not work. There was also a lamp that was broken in half on the desk. The sink had large cracks in it and the floors surrounding were damp. The restroom/shower area contained a fair amount of mildew, possibly mold, and hair. We could not get the TV to work. It would turn on, but there was no way to control it from there. In all, this was a place to sleep and we're appreciative of that. The shower and mini-refrigerator worked well. We had booked directly with Red Roof Inn, but the front desk team member warned us that people booking through third-parties DO NOT GET REFUNDS. Even if there are real issues, she explained that she doesn't grant refunds to those booking through third parties. She hinted that she has a lot of people complain about the hotel and try to get refunds.

We have stayed here several times and everytime there is something broken in our room. Once the door handle, once none of the keys worked, terrible smell one time. This time our toilet needs to be flushed by pulling a string and then the toilet won't stop running. It also takes 20 minutes for the tub to drain. It is the least expensive motel in the area. I guess I need to learn that you truly get what you pay for

Very clean and quiet. Nice location. I actually got locked out of my room 🙃 and slept in my van for a few hours with the windows down and wasn't bothered whatsoever. I would definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for. My Son and I needed a place to stay for the night when we came upon this hotel. At first when we walked in the place looked nice and clean but later we were fooled as we were eating our dinner from Pizza Hut, bugs were crawling out on the floor and black chair. I killed about five roaches and we immediately left afterward and spoke with the manager demanding a refund which we did not get but we did get deposit back. The lady employee who was working the night we left was very unprofessional, and did not apologize for our bad experience at all. Employee acted like it was our fault your hotel is infested with bugs. I Would never recommend this dirty place to anyone.

Not from that area, but call them and ask.
Old story, we heard your side. Would be interesting to hear their side. I had a good experience.
