We've been here a few times, and every time we go there are a few people just just keep their headlights on until someone went up and asked them to turn them off. Also, if it rains and you're sitting outside of your car with friends, there isn't much you can do about it. Fun experience but not for movies you really want to see.

Not too bad. The prices are very reasonable compared to a traditional sit down theater. $10 for adults and $6 for kids. That includes two feature films. I recommend bringing lawn chairs unless you have a large SUV or truck. The audio quality from the fm radio broadcast was nice and clear. As for the food, they offer the typical snack shop treats. Had the bathrooms been in better shape I'd have probably rated it higher but those things definitely need some work. I recommend not using them unless it's completely necessary. Other than that there isn't much to complain about.

A bit of drama here and there should be expected considering this is a teen hotspot. I also considered writing a quirky review talking about how the golf course jumps from 15 to 18, because they ran out of room. Still, for the price it's hard to beat and if you're interested in spending an evening at the drive in you can go in knowing they do an adequate job. Recommended, but know they have a few flaws that will become slightly more noticeable with frequent visits.

Kids were disappointed with the arcade games. They don't have very many games and they were either broken and ate your money or were out of tickets. Staff is kind and the food was decent. Overall not bad but not our preferred choice of drive ins in our area.

Are we allowed to bring dogs?

Hotmess Horror | Mar 24, 2019
Scott Morris-Bouza | Mar 25, 2019

There is no rule that dosen't allow dogs, we bring our dogs almost everytime we go. They lay outside with us on their blanket and usually passers by will ask to come pet them, especially kids, sorry but our babies are adorable. However, if your dog doesn't mind in public, ie. barking all the time or aggressive to people or other dogs, I would suggest not bringing them. They must be on a leash at all times unless they are in your vehicle. They don't allow them in the concession building, health code issues there. If your dog causes issues they will ask you to leave without refund, I have seen it happen.

does Avon Drive inn movie start right at 9:10? or is there previews at 9:10 because i may not arrive till 9:20 dont want to miss movie

diane L. | Mar 24, 2019
Scott Morris-Bouza | Mar 25, 2019

The first movie always has a short video of rules and then the national anthem followed by previews. It is usually between 6 to 10 minutes before the first movie actually starts. There is only 10 minutes between movies allowing for time to go to the snack bar and bathrooms. Also, the later in the season it gets the movies will start later, so always check their website for start times.

If it is raining will they still show movies? And what time should we get there for the best spot?

Tiffany Yost | Mar 24, 2019
Scott Morris-Bouza | Mar 25, 2019

What everyone else is saying is correct. We usually arrive when the box office opens especially if it is a blockbuster movie, 8:00pm Mon - Thur and 7:00pm Fri, Sat and Sun. I have seen screens packed opening weekend and even 2nd weekend for most Marvel and big kid movies. Movie start times get later as sunset gets later the further into the season it gets. The later in the season expect not to get out, if seeing both movies, until 1:00 am to 2:00am or later depending on movie lengths. I would recommend paying the extra $5 for the "Picnic Pass" so you can bring in your own food. Concession prices aren't bad and the food is pretty good. If you have a truck or SUV you must park towards the back. Also, if you want to sit outside your vehicle and have a hatchback and you want it up you will also have to park with the SUVs and trucks with the back no higher than your cars roof. They are picky about that and will make you move. They do have twine available to tie hatchback down.
