I'm so, so happy to live in an area where gun stores with great service are widely available. Came here to look around and purchase another firearm, and I wasn't disappointed at all by this store's broad selection of firearms, in fact, they just so happen to have had one of the very specific ones I've been looking for for months! The service was awesome, and Ryan was a big help - very friendly and patient! They're also very thorough as well, which is something that you should expect of a gun store. They've definitely earned my business for sure!

In GA: Photo ID, proof of address and pass a background check (per purchase). If you get your carry permit 1st, you can bypass the background checks.

You must have valid ID, fill out the 4473 form correctly, and pass a NICS background check. Without a Georgia Weapons Carry Permit, (must be 21 to be issued this permit), there is no guarantee that you will leave with the long gun same day, as the NICS check, while typically instant, (in which case as long as you pass and have the money, you should be able to take the long gun with you same day), can sometimes be delayed for up to 3 business days, at which time if the store allows it, you may purchase and leave with the firearm even if your background check is still pending in accordance with the Brady Law. There is a expiration time frame on background check, ifyou passed you have a set length of time to pickup you firearm.
Weapons Carry Licenses are issued in the Vital Records Division of the Probate Court, which is in the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. The office is located on the courtside wing (left side of the building when you are facing the front entrance from the outside) on the first floor and is the first office on the right past the elevators. Forms and space for writing are located outside of the office. The office accepts applications Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
You can bring your own ammo and targets and safety glasses and hearing protection or you can rent everything there

They rent a large selection of handguns and rifles. They're very helpful and will assist beginners. They also offer one-on-one and class instruction.
