I must say HEB has some of the freshes fruit and veggies. I love how they have different mixed fruit options. The in house coupons are always very exciting to find around the store. I'm not a big sea food eater but I always see they they have/ make it fresh. Their prep meals also come in handy when you don't feel like cooking, just throw it in the oven for a few minutes and done.

This is the quality checking we get at our heb. This is absolutely disgusting. Anyone order a nice long wirey black hair? Ummmm no, not I. 😒

I had the most wonderful experience with my cashier today, I was her last checkout before she clocked out, she was an older woman her name was Laura she was very polite and kind and she engaged me with a smile this woman is a jewel! And I say this coming from around 17 years of customer service and 6 in a 4 star hotel so I know customer service. The only thing I did not like was someone approached her saying she has too many hours which is not wrong but this should not be done or said in front of customers cause now your taking the focus off of your customer and it's the customer employee interaction that keeps people coming back, people can buy food from anywhere but you cannot buy great service! If I had my own company I would steal her from HEB cause she is the type of employee that makes a business grow.

I'm usually happy with my visits at any HEB but on the evening of 2/13/22 at the Austin Hwy location, I experienced subtle hatred from one of the cashiers named Linda B on register #1. I already saw that this person was in a bad mood when the guy ahead of me asked for a pack of cigarettes that was about 5 ft away from the employee. She rolled her eyes with irritation as the guy joked about needing to quit smoking. Then it was my time to checkout and I said "Hello, I have a return". Before I could finish she sighed and told me that she couldn't hear me so come to the open part of the plexiglass. So I did and I repeated myself. Frustrated, she still acted as if she couldn't her me even though the woman behind me heard me clearly and she was socially distanced. I spoke a little louder and repeated myself again. She then stopped me and said "Don't scream at me!" I tried explaining that I wasn't screaming at all but she could not hear me so I was trying to speak louder. She corrected me and said, "I could hear you, I just couldn't understand that way that you speak". I couldn't believe what she had just said to me. Regardless of how I speak she admitted that she couldn't hear me, now as a dig she's wants me to believe that MY speech is a problem for her when it isn't for anyone else. I'm trying not to take this experience personal because it seemed that this person was ready to fight with anyone and I just happened to be there in the moment. Nevertheless, that doesn't excuse any bigotry or intolerance from an employee towards a customer and an apology directly from this person is very much necessary. Her behavior was rude, unwarranted, and unnecessary.

Yes
H-E-B sources fresh and frozen meats, including Beef, Lamb, Bison, Pork, and Poultry, from meat processors across the USA; however, a large majority of our products are sourced from Texas suppliers/ranchers/farmers. A very small amount of product is sourced from Canada and Mexico, and will be labeled on each package with the correct country of origin.

There's no fee for reloading but buying it for the first time you have to put at least $10 on it

To get good venison go to a taxadermist..he does work for the meat.and sells it.
No. Now there is an ATM there. I believe it takes debit cards from most of the banks, Frost, RBFCU?, think thats how it's abbreviated. Its at the door nearest the fruit and veggies. Can't remember all the different banks, and credit cards it will take. Have a care, it's a very, very busy corner, theres a lottery ticket machine, and it's around corner from customer service.
It is not but heb brand "dr B" is always on sale
