I had my appointment scheduled few weeks in advance. Apparently, there was no script on file, eventhough my doctor faxed it over not once. While we were trying to figure out situation with the script, the receptionist told me that the technician cannot wait for me because I came late, however I came right on time. So, I had to leave and reschedule my visit and wait for 2 weeks for the first available appointment. Also, I missed my appointment with the doctor because I have to have tests results ready for it. I believe, it could be avoided if anyone would let me know in advance that there was no script on file. Two weeks later, I came for my second appointment (sono) and was taken right away (thank you). I let the receptionist and the technician know that I have another test (x-ray) same day, however, was not taken for 40 mins and was told that I had to wait until everyone else is done. I understand, there is no in-advance appointments available for x-ray, just walk in. But it would be fair to put people on a waiting list as they come in. Why was I moved to the end of the line? Receptionist offered me to come back another time another day saying that they are very busy. I had to leave because could not wait longer. Just a suggestion for Regional Radiology: let people schedule x-ray appointments so that they could plan their time accordingly

I have been to this radiology several times already, this place is close to my house and usually the waiting time was 20-40 minutes. And what happened today, I did not expect at all. I had an appointment at 11 am. on sonography of the abdomen and thyroid gland and on x-rays of the hands. When I ordered this appointment, the girl told me that I didn’t need an appointment for an x-ray and that they would do an x-ray at the same time. I asked several times, and I was assured that I would receive the service I was referred to - 2 ultrasounds and an x-ray. To my misfortune, Arden Avenue was blocked by a car from the city service and many cars were ambushed for 15 minutes. I arrived at radiology not at 11 am, but at 11:12 am. But I didn't worry, because there was always a waiting time. The girl at the reception initially said that there was no X-ray. When I asked why I was not warned in advance, I recommended to go to another place. I tried to explain that I ordered the appointment 2 weeks in advance and now I don't have time to drive around the city looking for x-rays. Useless. Then this girl put forward an ultimatum - she said that I was 20 minutes late and they would only give me one ultrasound, not two, as in the doctor's referral. I said that I was only 12-15 minutes late. No, she started arguing with me. I was shocked, I did not expect this. As a result, I was given only a sonogram of the abdomen and refused to do a thyroid test. Although it could take no more than 10 minutes. But no. At the same time, the girl took away my referral from my doctor. She didn't give me a copy, nothing. I ordered an appointment 2 weeks in advance for three tests, and as a result I received only one study and I don’t even have a referral for the other two. I need to go back to the doctor and get a new one. At the same time, my doctor does not work on weekends and I need to take a day off to go to the doctor again. I don't get paid these days. Terrible day, terrible place.

I visited Regional Radiology to get a bladder/kidney sono. I got an appointment the next day for 7:30am and walked out the door by 8am. Extremely friendly and competent staff. I received my results via e-mail link on the same day a few hours. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.
