I’ve only eaten here once but it was really nice. The restaurant is tucked away so I’d like to Call it a hidden gem. The food was really good & the portion sizes were more than to be expected. They also had a great live band playing music! Between the food and music it was a great experience.

This is absolutely my favorite Italian place in the Albany area. Been coming here for years and they absolutely never disappoint! The ambiance is wonderful, waitstaff attentive, prices reasonable, food delicious... (I'm selfishly hesitant to give such a glowing review because I don't want others to catch on so it becomes hard to get a table!) :) I'm sad that COVID put the kibosh on their lunch service, hopefully that will come back some day. Just ate there on a Thursday night with a girlfriend and they had live music. What a nice touch! We thoroughly enjoyed that! They also have great patio dining in better weather. Perfect date night or special occasion spot. Keep up the good work, Grappa!

Since it was first time, there are WAY many more dishes we will have to experience b4 a 5 star rating (there is your grain of salt). That being said. The appetizers were spot on - portobello, tomato, and goat cheese(!!) Phenomenal flavors, the entrées were layer after layer of flavor, wine list and aperitif list were worth it and paired well. Just get to this place already, and get a reservation!! We will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Beautiful place and amazing food. Was in Albany visiting from Long Island and was recommend this Italian spot, awesome choice! Tried making a reservation, but it was booked lucky there was a spot at the bar. Brian the bartender was a nice guy, and served us quick. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for genuine Italian food.

There is a coupon in the Albany Clipper publication to use. You choose one appetizer to share, you each get a glass of wine (my parents enjoy the Riesling) and entrees that are under $20, and you split a dessert. If you choose an entree more than $20, they'll charge you the difference; however, entrees $30 and up are not included in the deal. I'm here this evening with my parents, who enjoy the deal. It seems that the restaurant doesn't concern itself with the expiration date on the coupon, either. According to my parents, Grappa also has a lunch coupon that's 2 for $19.95, with a salad and entree for each person.
Yes, for lunch and dinner.
You need to call them and ask, or check their website from r hours of operation.
You'd have to call there and find out.
Tables spread apart, masks required when not seated, social distancing, you know all of the COVID stuff.
Not certain!! Sorry.
