The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was pleasant. The room was very nice, modern with a lot of outlets, fast WiFi, even a Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. I enjoyed the bed and slept well. The desk and chair were also helpful to work when needed. I did like the grab and go breakfast option but I had thought generally breakfast was included with Holiday Inn. One big issue I found is that the pool was closed, and apparently has been for some time. In the middle of the summer in New Jersey, especially with temperatures near 100 degrees, that is not acceptable. Additionally two of the nights I did not have hot water, so at least I was able to cool off in the shower since the pool was closed. The AC worked great at night, but room did get warm during the day, not much of an issue because I was elsewhere for the most part then. The location was decent, even able to walk to several restaurants and the nearby park, also very close to many nearby places by car also.

We had recently traveled to the area to celebrate a relative's birthday. We spend one night at another, local hotel and had a terrible experience. We booked at Holiday Inn knowing we would have good service, a clean hotel and room and friendly service. We were not disappointed.

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars, was because of the staff. Very friendly and very helpful in everything. The room itself though? Not up to par. We have stayed here before and it was fine, but this time we did not have an ice bucket, no cups, no hair dryer, one drawer for 2-3 people, minimal counter space, it was just a place to sleep and shower, but still should feel comfortable. We ultshower payed $500+ for a room with a cool mirror and soap and shampoo built into the shower.

Stayed here 4 nights. No surprises, quiet and unruly neighbors. Hotel is close to shopping and some good choices between fast food and comfort food. They do have in house restaurant and bar so that's a bonus! Staff was nice and rooms were ideal for my short stay. I will be back on a few months.
