The code enforcement department went above and beyond to help me in a complicated situation with a lot of moving parts. Darlene and Maria were very friendly, accessible willing to assist in a special situation. Matt, the plumbing inspector was one of the most accommodating inspector I have ever dealt with. His knowledge and personal assistance was instrumental in completing our project. I look forward to the next time we have to work in Perth Amboy. Thank you again Matt, Darlen and Maria for all your help, you are true professionals!!

This is crazy! I don’t know if they approve a permit based on nationality or what or they think that I am from another planet? Long story short, my friend has a single family home and so do I. Now, he was approved to perform repairs in his home and while I was going to do the same thing ,mine was denied. Why?? Because I needed a contractor?? Why? I have not idea. I regreat buying a house in this town. Totally insane🤬🤬

home developers building new homes in Perth Amboy when it rains water from the construction site are running off and flooding my backyard who would enforce or address the problem

From my knowledge I would say .... Talk to the GC, Or builder Or whenever is in charge of the construction they should take responsibility for it
