First visit to the orchard since 2019. While the orchard remains beautiful and there are plenty of apple varieties to pick, there is now a per person "fee" to pick apples. Each person entering the orchard has to purchase a plastic bag to use when picking. You are no longer allowed to just walk the orchard. The orchard has done away with bring your own bag/provided paper bag and weight and pay system. For three people with a small bag each, it cost us about $3 per lb of apples. The apples were great, but it's gotten expensive. Additionally their switch from paper bags to plastic was disappointing.

It's a good apple orchard. Wish they'd post on website what varieties are available that day. Have to pay per person each person gets a bag. The apples were truly really good and plentiful! Nice time of picking, there's just nothing else... No place for photos, or sitting, or anything...

Every person who enters over the age of 12 has to purchase a bag small bags are $ 10 each and hold approximately 3.5 lbs

Barnyard is at the 330 Cold Soil Road location. No charge to enter except if it is a festival weekend then there is admission to entire farm including barnyard.

They charge $8 for the activities, including pumpkin patch, food and animals. Their store is free w/fruits and vegetables. Check out the winery, get a glass sit by the fireplace that's outside.
