This gallery is full of the works from excellent regional artisans. There is a lot of pottery, wood, and even a resident glass blower who oftentimes is demonstrating his craft.

Rodney Leftwich has published a book that I think focuses mostly on Pisgah Pottery, but that is where to start for WNC pottery. Two books to recommend on NC pottery: "Raised in Clay" and "Turners and Burners". Both have good information on the development, styles, and personalities of NC potters. And both have excellent photographs of pottery.
