Our family enjoyed a great trip to Shell Island with Captain Bob, Paige and Snack today!!! We had such a wonderful time shelling, saw dolphins, eagles and an occasional sturgeon!! The weather was great, the music fun and the guys made sure we were all having a great time!! We highly recommend Capt. Rods Boat Tours- they do not dissapoint!!!!!

Our trip to the lighthouse/North Island to find shells was wonderful. They even made sure families with children were able to have shells. My first place they said we can go to the water I look down and find the most beautiful welk. They made the trip there fun and are very knowledgable of the history of the area. This is a bonus as I love hearing the history of places we visit. Very worth your time to take this trip

Excellent trip. Captain Thom and the first mate did an outstanding job. Found nice shells and got a great history lesson. Will go again.

Yes. Tours are running now. I believe the price is $40 per adult and $30 per child. You can find all of this information on their website. My family went in July and it was well worth the price.
Are you able to bring a licenced emotional support dog on the tour?
It generally depends on how big of a rain it is if it's a small pop up usually fine
Hello Lisa, yes our regular season goes to October 31, 2021. You may view our schedule at Www.lowcountrytours.com Yes, payment is due upon making a reservation. Please let us know if you have anymore questions we may assist you with. Thank you. W kind regards, Ms. Moni
Lee Ann, we can only see the Lighthouse from the boat. It has been vandalised in the past and the Coast Guard closed it down. You may bring your dog on the boat tour, we just ask for it to be leashed at all times and it cannot be barking a lot due to the courtesy of other customers as the captain is talking about the history of the area throughout the tour.
According to their website, tours will be Oct 4,5 then 8,9,10. Check it out @http://m.integratedmobilemarketing.com/capnrods?m_Source=redirector.
During part of the year they do not shure about right now though I suggest calling them
There is a restroom on board. They sell snacks, but you can bring a small cooler with your own drinks and food
