As a not-for-profit, member-owned electric utility, Berkeley Electric Cooperative assigns any excess revenue, or margins, directly back to its members at the end of the year as Capital Credits. You also may qualify for a one-time energy rebate this year. The total amount being refunded in December is $6.5 million. Amounts under $20 will appear as a credit on your bill this month. Checks for amounts over $20 will be mailed on Friday (12/13/19).
