Normally I would not review a place like this at all but alas, here we are. I have never visited this church at all, I am personally not religious. However I do like to frequently visit folly beach, where this occurrence occurred. Me and my significant other and I love to go to the beach frequently on the weekend when we are both off of work. This particular day, at about 2pm, I was reading my book far away from the water where we usually set up to have a bit of space to ourselves. A few individuals came and decided to set up right in front of us only about 6 feet away. No problem, ex wtd it wasn’t just a few chairs and towels. These individuals proceeded to set up tables, tents, several umbrellas, an enormous speaker (so loud we could not hear the music from our personal speaker) and lay out several chairs and other umbrellas practically to ally surrounding us. We were now unable to hear our own music bc we were bombardee with that of the huge speaker that was brought by these people, but we could no longer enjoy the view as anything we might have enjoyed was now blocked by several umbrellas next to eachother, tents and tables, less than 3 yards away from us. How do I know the individuals were part of this church? The massive flags they brought with them. Not only was setting up so close with such volume and supplies inconsiderate, it was very rude considering there was a massive portion of the beach not that far to the right of us. It is a public beach and I would assume that most people would try to be considerate to the public because of that, regardless of what organization you may represent. Update: the tide came in which I am guessing they did not account for any decided to move even CLOSER to us. Rather than move to a different location a few yards to the right that was not at all occupied. They decided to surround us with tents, umbrellas, chairs, and extremely loud speakers. I consider this extremely inconsiderate as everyone should have a right to enjoy their individual time at the beach as we all have an equal right to it. I am very disappointed bc I never thought I would have to leave a review like this, especially for a religious organization.
