They serve a wonderful clam chowder. I ate every drop! Haha. Their pan seared scallops were delicious! They were very tender and had a great taste. We had the sweetest waitress that was constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything else. She even offered to take a picture of me and my boyfriend, which turned out to be a great picture! We love eating here!!!

Really cute place right on the water. I ordered grouper that was absolutely delicious but that about where it stops. Prepackaged tarter sauce, cocktail sauce that was still ketchup, had no horseradish kick to it, ranch dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle, my husband's shrimp and scallops looked like were once frozen and thawed in the skillet with butter. For the price I wasn't impressed. Meals that are $20-$30 a plate, there should be the extra touches. It is simple to make ranch and tarter and it goes a long way for the customer.

VERY busy around 5 and after especially on weekends. Ive been going to sarah js since i was a child now 40 and its aways a must do for our beach trips. ENJOY ... we called this year and they actually would not take reservations so a bit of a change but wait was not bad

They do not take reservations. First come first serve. I would plan on getting there around 3:45-4:00 if yiu want to beat the crowd.

Sara J seafood is now open 7 days a week starting 3/21 hours are 4 pm to 9 pm and will probably be extended during the summer tourist season
