Debbie in the floral department at the Southroads location absolutely saved me! Dierbergs website would only take same day pick up orders for a corsage. So, I waited until Friday to place the order. The website then said there would be a three day turnaround for corsages. I called the store and Debbie said that they were completely full with orders and couldn’t take anymore. Maybe Debbie felt sorry for me, but she took my order and made the corsage. I don’t know what I would have done if she hadn’t done that. I want to thank her so so so so much!!

It's a nice grocery store for a "supermarket." They have everything you'd ever expect and then some. Prices are right and I usually save money shopping versus other chain stores in St. Louis. Their meat and seafood always seems fresh and cooks up just deliciously. There's a wonderful beer and wine selection here. I really liked the Elysian Space Dust IPA. It's goes great with some hot wings or just by itself. They had plenty of items on sale on my most recent visit. I figured I saved about $18-20.00 shopping here. There's a florist, Mercy Hospital pharmacy, and MoneyGram at the customer service counter where they sell postage stamps and money orders also. Everything they have here makes it a convenient place to shop.

Shopping at Dierbergs South today July 1, 2021 the store was absolutely packed and hardly any isles open for people to check out. The checkout lanes were 6+ people deep I spoke to management and told them I thought they needed to open up more lanes.I don’t mind paying higher prices to have service but when you get no service you start going elsewhere.

I regret every trip I make to this store, to the extent that I have made an effort to boycott Dierbergs as a whole. It's a shame that this part of town is limited to such a mediocre grocer- I look forward to Fresh Thyme opening nearby. Here is a list of reasons you shouldn't shop at this store: 1) It is like walking into the geriatric unit of a psych ward. I have wasted collective hours of my life waiting for elderly to pull out of parking spaces at this place. 2) I spent around $60 on expired goods at this store over the course of a month. The expired products ranged from pasta sauce to coffee to meat. 3) On one occasion I was chased out of the store by the manager. I had purchased a sandwich at the self check out and proceeded to eat it as I waited for my prescription to be filled. He doubted that I had paid for the meal. 4) The interior of the store is as depressing and dated as their clientele. I guess this review will not make much of a difference. But it's important to me that people recognize this store for what it is- a skid mark on a pair of depends.
