There is 2 separate areas. 1 for 30 lbs and under and the other side is over 30 lbs. It can get a little muddy. There's a water fountain there for dogs. It's turned on seasonal. So during the cold Temps, we bring a portable bowl with water. We always meet nice people..

We were thankful for this park as we have been traveling and it’s so refreshing to be able to stop and just let the dogs out of the car to stretch their legs! Our dogs rarely potty anywhere but at home but the area was clean! It was raining lightly while we were there, the big dog area was a bit muddy but what dog doesn’t love a little mud !? We will definitely stop on our way through again ! To Vectren : how I wish you would put one of these in Evansville Indiana , I would even volunteer to help keep it cleaned up !

Terre haute has a GREAT Parks department, it's a shame that doesn't carry over to the ONLY dog park in Terre Haute. No shade, no water, hardly any grass. It feels like it's managed by volunteers only (it may be I'm not sure).that might be why there's hardly any other dogs here when we come. I do enjoy walking my dogs throughout the rest of the park though. I wish there was another bark park available on the east side of town, if there were I'd never come here.
