I had a positive experience at this location. As soon as I walked through the door a staff member was there to greet me and point me in the right direction. The staff a the Tax Auditor office were helpful and easy to deal with. As someone who recently moved to SC from TX, I was used to dealing with unhappy and impatient people....I was surprised by the friendliness of the staff in this office.

Worst tax office to deal with ever. They have literally called me a lier when I was trying to be refunded for overpaying my taxes for 3 years due to an error on their end. Still not fixed and I've sold the house so now their telling me I'm no longer eligible for a refund because I no longer own the home. They are awful to deal with and would never be in business if not the city government. I'm talking to an attorney about my situation for no other reason then how I was mistreated by the person who runs their office. Her name is Debbie Atkins and she is a bully. I'm going to ask for a jury trial because I know if she gets on the stand it's over for her, she's literally letting her power from the job make her think it's ok to mistreated people based on nothing more than her personal opinion.
