I gave Magistrate Court three stars because of Anthony, Ann, and Sheree. They each deserve a star, but the other employees do not impress me. Could the cashier crack a smile, now and again… a thank you would be nice?

Most of the time taken for eviction if due to the mailing of documents. Even after an immedite writ is issued the form is sent to the sherriff office via mail. FAxe and Email would be more reliable and faster, but then it has been 4 days and the sherri still does mot have documents and he will not schedule eviction tile has it in hand. So , now it is going to be 9-10 days after the immediate write before the eviction happens. IN the meantime I am a small business and depend on this income to survive. Just not right???!!!

I am totally DISGUSTED that as a taxpayer I can Not get in touch to speak with a person! This is shameful that the employees do not answer phone and systems says I am connecting you yo the attendant and then you are disconnected! Do you look at your low ratings??!!??

In Chatham County it is, 99$( 49 to file, 50 for sheriff to deliver) to file a lawsuit in small claims court. You can sue someone up to $15,000. Very easy process.

Anthony, while I am not sure what your warrant is for, it isn't a conviction. A warrant is basically a summons to court by a judge for the defendant. Someone established to a judge that there is Probable Cause you committed an offence. The warrant is the paper the judge signs saying, " bring this person to me for a trial." Once you are issued the warrant you get a court date. The court date is when you argue the warrant/charges are incorrect. If it's completely erroneous it can be dismissed at the probable cause hearing 30 days from the warrant service.
Take him to small claims court it'll be a civil matter
