This place doesn't help you. I was there from 2015-2017. Age 12-15. I would get dragged down the halls by my hair, slammed into walls, choked, beaten, ect by many of the other residents. Some of the staff were amazing but many of the staff didn't care about any of the patients. In fact, I was attacked by a staff member once. I just wanted a few more moments of sleep because I was exhausted and she dragged me out of the bed and kicked me where the camera couldn't see, however, when I fought back in self defense and anger, the other staff members held me back but didn't stop her when she hurt me. People who are almost adults will literally attack and harm children there that are as young as 11. Freaking 11. People are constantly trying to kill each other and theirselves. This place didn't help me. It gave me even more trauma and I'm gonna always have these horrible memories of this place for the rest of my life. I'm 20 now and I finally got the courage to write a review for this horrible place. Please, don't put your child here. This place doesn't help and your child will be in danger. I hope this place gets shut down.

i was an adolescent patient here a month ago and i hated it there was an ant infestation and the bathrooms were gross the chairs in the day area were disgusting and hard and the rooms were like prison cells. i got covid while i was there, and the night i tested positive i was begging staff for my mucinex because i couldnt breathe when laying down (i was on mucinex before i got tested for covid there) and the woman said started lecturing me and saying “you cant just make up symptoms just because you were tested positive for covid” she made me want to scream my head off. there are many good staff members at this place but also ignorant ones who deny sick children their meds when they are in need of them.
