I went to doctor to do a follow up for my child’s asthma and allergies. The doctor was awesome but after my child’s check up was over no one told us we could leave right after my child’s appointment was finished. We heard the nurse having a conversation with her coworkers but she never acknowledged us that we could leave and we stayed in the room for 45 minutes. We were finally told we could leave by the doctor afterwards and that’s why I give them three stars

I had an allergic reaction to something unknown. in January 2022. Swelling, hives, severe enough all over my body I panicked. I didn’t know if it was food or something I touched. I went to my Primary and was referred to this location for an allergy specialist. They responded quickly but when I was scheduled I was scheduled for a month out and then rescheduled for 2 months out due to a holiday on their side. When my appt finally came, I was seen by a nurse who was nice enough and the reception was kind as well. When I saw the dr. He asked me the same questions I had already told the nurse, and told me “doing an allergy panel would be a waste of time”. When I pushed and asked for the panel due to it being covered by my insurance and my concern for such a unknown allergine he continued to reiterate it would be a waste of his time and he said “if another reaction occurs, that would be a sign you need to come see us” and that I’d be a current patient so I would be able to get in quickly. “If another reaction occurs call the location and get in.” Then he sent me on my way. I was billed for the entire visit as though he didn’t just spent 10 total minutes with me for no reason then kicked me out after refusing a service. I had another reaction last night May 2022. 10x more severe than the last—I confirmed it wasn’t a food allergy as I hadn’t eaten, but the hives were covering my entire body and were much more severe. As instructed I called the allergy center to schedule, assuming because I was a current patient I would get in in a few days. I was told the earliest I could get in was July 25. What about the drs. Line of “if you have another reaction we will get you in easily and quickly.” When I shared my prior experience I was provided no line to communicate it elsewhere and told “sorry.” Though she seemed kind and it was not necessarily anything she could do— she could have offered a line to communicate it up or shared a feedback option. With my worsening reaction and it is still completely unknown what it is— the lack of support and help was incredibly offensive. I would not ever recommend this location or any of their services. I have plenty of videos recording my reaction and the severity. If only they’d asked to see anything before deeming me an unimportant patient who’s allergy reaction was not worth the time.

Dr. Bardelas and staff was simply amazing. He very through and to point and I shouldn’t have been injection from the previous dr I was at so thankful I decided to make the move.
