Beach and picnic areas were clean. The bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Best to get there before noon, for it filled up quickly on the Sunday I went starting about then. I arrived around 11:30 and there were 4 other vehicles already there. By 1pm, the parking spaces were gone. Clean sandy beach, clean water, clean vault toilets, but no water or sinks to wash your hands. $5 a car was quite reasonable. Park Ranger came around about 3-3:30p...checking for day use tags and giving out tickets. Great place to swim, but lots of rude boaters liked coming down into that dead end cove at high rates of speed causing huge waves that knocked the toddlers over. Not nice of them.

Easily one of my favorite beaches around, not too crowded and beautiful area.

We've been here a couple of times. Each pavilion has a couple of picnic tables and a grill. There are some additional picnic tables with grills in shady spots and another out in the open. The swimming area is nice. The beach is a pebbled sandy beach. I have a nice set of swings, and a bathroom. The boat launch is just around the corner, so you can have a great time on the water as well as in the water. My kids ask us to return there frequently.
