Heather is an excellent provider! I’ve been a patient with Future Psych for over a year now. Unfortunately, they’ve begun adding more and more fees in addition to the existing copay, making it less affordable.

There is so much I could write about my experience with Future Psych Solutions but I'll keep it short and sweet. This practice is unlike any other you can find in SC or neighboring states. The staff truly care about you and are dedicated to your health - meaning they listen emphatically and trust your judgement. From the office staff to the providers, all are amazing. My life has done a complete 180 in part to this practice and I would trust Dr. McKinney with my life. I'm moving out of state which is the only reason I have stopped seeing her. I know that finding another provider will not be easy due to the level of care I've received here, and this practice has given me the tools to make that transition so much smoother. I am so grateful I found this practice and will miss them dearly. If you're considering this practice but are finding it hard to seek help, give them a call because you deserve to be happy and they want to get you there!

I called them for more information on ketamine treatment but they seem pretty resistant to talking to anyone and just referred me to their website. And for any questions after that, they suggested I book the first appointment and come in. It's weird that they won't share their success rate, costs, or what a treatment plan might look like (not even how many doses, how often, etc.). There are centers in Greenville and Charleston that will answer every question you have to help make sure you're making the right decision.

It took me a while; thinking, someone may recognize my name or know I’ve been in need of treatment. The stigma around mental illness is difficult to discuss but KNOW that the ABSOLUTE best thing that has happened to me in the more recent years has been my path crossing with this establishment. The staff & treatment I receive are TOP NOTCH. If you or a loved one are in need of assistance wait no longer to feel better! 🙏🏽

Questions & Answers

What insurance companies help pay for this kinda treatment?

Don DuBose | Oct 7, 2020

We accept most insurance except Medicaid. We can accept Tricare, Medicare, and most commercial insurances. Some of our services are cash pay because insurance does not cover some of the cutting edge treatments we offer. We also offer in office labs, an app to track progress, webinars, seminars, group activities i.e. walking club and much more to enhance your Mental Wealth. Therefore we ask for a 10 dollar administrative fee to help fund these non covered services. Hope this answers your question! Dr. DuBose

Yes we do treat opiate addiction with Suboxone. We also offer a path to detox off of all opiates without withdrawal symptoms using a device called the BRIDGE device. Here is a link to learn more about the device. https://bridge-rep.com/ you can learn more about our program on the website or call our office and we would be happy to explain our program.
