Had an issue with a bill. Called the Auditor and the representative was very helpful and generated a new bill for me. Ultimately had to go to the Mount Pleasant office to pay the bill and the staff for both the Treasurer and Auditor when above and beyond to resolve our issue. These folk don't often get enough credit but today was great service!

Had a wonderful visit to the auditor. Came with my young daughter (12) and everyone was so patient. Someone even complimented my outfit, even though it was just an old Juicy Couture tracksuit, I had found at GoodWill. Everyone was so kind even when my daughter started to throw a fit on the ground, as she sometimes does. Five stars!

The Representative that answered the phone was rather rude and could not answer my question. I asked her when they drew their tax bills and she didn’t know, then said sometime in October…. It is September 29th, so I asked which day in October would be a good day to call back to check on my tax amount and her response was, yet again, that she didn’t know. She told me to call every day until someone knew the answer I needed…absolutely terrible service.

The standard for Charleston county raised should be raised when it comes to customer service. It's clear that employees are unhappy and they present this as rudeness to people who have to waste too much time,money and energy at this location.
