This CBOC isn’t so great anymore. Good luck getting an appointment. Calling the # to this clinic, you now get a centralized appointment making center, you don’t talk to anyone in this clinic office. Using this centralized call center now, they make your appointment through the computer & can’t get the computers to connect with each other. Using myhealthevet, I did get a call with an extension # to make an appointment for something else I had asked about. Did anybody bother to answer when I was able to call them back? HA!!! And I called before 4p, when they normally close. No. I am no longer impressed with this Forest City, NC clinic nor even our Charles George center who had a number 1 rating just a few years ago. This system is going downhill in every area.

I called in about being screened for an issue; made an appointment; and they completely disregarded what I made an appointment for and took it upon themselves to treat me for something COMPLETELY irrelevant while completely IGNORING what I called in to make an appointment for. I’ve been calling for results from my appointment while they NEVER EVEN SAW ME for what I made an appointment for. How do you give someone an appointment for something they didn’t call for them IGNORE/DISMISS the reason for the call?!!!

I figure it was time to update my Review! BOTH the Ashville VA Hospital and Rutherford County are Outpatient Clinics are TOP NOTCH! Both Continue to Rank at the Top 5 Percent for Customer Service and have Maintained those Ratings Since I began using there Services over 10 Years Ago. The Medical Doctors, Medical Staff and the Maintanance Staff All are Professional and Veteran Focused. I would not Choose any other Veteran Hospitals or Clinics other than these 2, they to me Should Be Ranked #1.
