Better off sleeping in the graveyard! Past 12 yrs, from the corner stone to the dumpster, this place is unorganized as ever, getting worse by the day. Seems like this place operates by unqualified volunteered personal. As far as food and sanitization personals, coercion volunteers with an incentive of rewards or punishments.... NASTY, laundry room Attendee are coercion (shower room), this place runn by uneducated mobs. #mentalpatiens.... program does not works 0% success rate . I would go as far as inhumane. I can't show pics of shower room, due to privacy.

Counselors are great

Joseph Azar....It has to do with someone that left transitions and is in need of housing.
Contact the office personnel, they will accept donations, food clothing , books paper pencils almost anything to help the unfortunate
Yes they do however the process starts on Monday morning at 0830 If you need a place to stay for the night try Oliver gospel mission
Yes u have a to be their at 8.30
Yes
It's Awesome 👍 that the Carolinas have a facility for Men and women to transition. We're in need of this facility here in Orangeburg SC Men House 🏠 and Women House I have a passion for this project and I've begun the process continue to pray as we fullfil God's purpose for Orangeburg SC &the surrounding towns and cities. For Transition Facilities
Do you have anything for a family of five?
Not all of the staff empathizes no
U have to be there by 830 and then sign a sheet of paper the paper is only out until 9
You would really have to call 211 for a agency called travel aid if they are funded they will send you
There are no cheap motel near Transition Shelter you have Parkveiw motel thats about $55 a day you have another motel on Sunset blvd near Richland Hospital about the same prices
You could go into Transition during day hours of 9 am to 5 pm 7 days a week, but ad to living there, you would have to speak with staff to get in.
Transition youth program
No they dont
From what I've seen and heard 6 to 9 is about right
Ok so let me understand... This homeless transitional housing shelter takes almost a year to help people needing housing into there own home?
Depending upon the program that you are in the rent is only monthly and is determined upon your earnings.
I parked in there and was told that the lot was only for employees and my car will be towed.
I really dont.....that phrase is very important to remember and i say that because it is what will be said to you contiuously. They have a set of rules that they are to go by and when a mistake is made they have no idea of how to recitify it...i think your sanity more important than the trouble
Return the next day and sleep in the bed and be thankful
You have to go every morning until you get a bed but once in you can stay for 9 months going thru their step down programs they have
Come to the center anytime after 830 am for possible assistance.
Yes. They will work with you to help you get on your feet and once again be self sufficient and independent. Go speak with them soon.
They have different services that help and also the case managers have bus passes
They get full, overloaded, and must turn away some. I suggest going around noon or early afternoon and talking to them about admission. The earlier you make contact the better.
Can you send me a picture of him? Imight know who you are talking about
There is a periodic Doctor/Nurse visit. However, the medical group who does it is a very poor understaffed medical center.
Go there. They open to the public at 8:30. Tell front desk you want a bed. They will tell you who to see. Most times there is a waiting list.
Like the other answers, yes and you will be in separate rooms. There are great programs there and plenty of services. I agree that it is a good place to get help. Take advantage of the services but don't get stuck there.
Call them
I agree with the Jones , if you're homeless and in need. They should be able to assist you .
It's best to go and speak with someone in person. They are very busy during the day.
Yes
Im not sure. But i could check and get back with you
