If your looking for good support and a place to thrive, don't go to tangu. I could say so much.but I'll just get to the facts/point. First of all, their website is extremely false. They do not have doctors, social workers, or therapists. They do have a few counselors. I was there 6 weeks and only had 2 sessions. I had to beg for the 2nd one. There are so many flaws in this program. The biggest thing they lack is support and common decency. I couldn't afford the rent. They asked me if I had a place to go. When I told the lady no she said, "sorry to hear that." And she said it with a smile. They did not provide any resources in helping me find a place. And didn't let me stay until I found shelter. The saddest part is, they have empty apartments. And trust me. They were making money off me. Charging my insurance thousands of dollars for services I wasn't receiving. Who smiles at someone that doesn't have a place to go? U would think an establishment like this, would do everything they could to help their people thrive. I need to add that I am struggling greatly with my health. And They knew it......... All they are is a business. Which means they are just in it strictly for the money. They lack the compassion that recovery treatment centers need. Not only for the clients benefit. But also, to be a successful establishment. And it shows. Like I stated. They have plenty of room. And people come in and out of there quickly. Because they are not giving them the tools to thrive.......... i was told they wre a great place. But i found out they changed owners. And he fired all the original employees. They have brought in very newly recovering addicts. Who are under qualified.......so, if your struggling in life. Which let's face it. Most of us are in a world of hurt at this point. Don't waste your time at Tangu!

Wow im not sure what to say here. After completing this program over the last 3 months i will never be able to repay this wonderful institution for my long term sobriety expertise. It isn't enough to just say that this place beleived in me but they also helped me through some tough times and I have the staff members with testimony to thank for this. Every day was a wonderful experience becasue of a few key people that I've come to love and cherish: Michael, Trey, David, Tim, and Jordan gave me sound advice when i couldn't or wouldn't listen to the advice of family members. Sometimes it just takes some effort and the willingness to get sober to realize this. If your looking to work a program that works then this one would be my first reccomendation. Doing research before entering a program is important and the research that I conducted before coming here was extensive. I found a diamond in the ruff for recovery.

If you’re looking for a place to get sober, this is it. Staff is tough but thorough and cares about each client infinitely- because not only do they understand but have each been through this themselves. Get as much out of it as you can, your future will thank you.
