Had an issue with our gas oven not igniting. Called around a few places to see who could make it out the quickest and wound up here. The initial contact was great. The receptionist I spoke to was new, and informed me of this fact right from the start. Even though she had recently started, I found her to be knowledgeable, helpful, and very upbeat. She was able to get me all the info I needed and got me scheduled for their earliest date with no hassle at all. The technician who arrived was polite and professional. He explained what the possible issues could be as he diagnosed the problem. Eventually he narrowed down the faulty igniter and let me know he could fix the issue the same day. Originally he was going to charge me to replace the gas line (I could be saying this incorrectly) that led to my wall connection because it was so short and it was impossible to pull the range out past the cabinets. This company does guarantee their work for a period of time after the repair so this was perfectly acceptable to me as it meant I would get the guarantee and the range would be easier to work on in the future. Upon completing the job he let me know that it wasn't as bad as he thought to reach the back of the stove so he was not going to make me replace this part as part of the repair process and would still guarantee his work, which saved me some money and was much appreciated. Price wise I felt the service and parts charge was very reasonable and overall I felt the experience was great. If you are having appliance issues I would highly recommend giving Benfields a call.
