Usually great. Got a country ham biscuit this AM . Ham excellent. Biscuit terrible. Need a new biscuit maker. It was dried out and tough like it was left over from a few days ago.

Took the long, twisty country road route from Durham today specifically to eat lunch here after seeing this place mentioned in Our State magazine. It did NOT disappoint. Great space. Fantastic service and the food was most excellent. I'm trying to stay away from fried foods so instead of a platter w/ fried and hushpuppies I just got a half pound of sliced bbq and a cup of pinto beans. Really good bbq and quite possibly the best bowl of beans i've ever had. The breakfast menu looked really good and i'd be up for another trip just for that. Maybe next time on our way to the mountains. Also, ribs only served later in the day --- another excuse for another trip up that way.

Wonderful BBQ done right! Sliced and chopped is great. I dont understand why anyone would want it minced to death though. Great breakfast and burgers too. Im glad they have ribs, but the ones i got tonight were a bit dry and tough, despite having a bit of grease on the plate. But i understand once isn't everytime so i will go back for more of all.
