This place is amazing. We were remodeling our home and wanted to replace our stair rails. Ensley Ornamental Iron fabricated the stair rails and John helped me pick out a wood called Sapele from Africa. He cut and sealed the wood for us and it is simply amazing. I love City Hardwoods. The selection is nice, the wood is terrific, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The frequent sales help expose me to new species of wood, and I never have any problems finding nice pieces. I do miss the cutoff bin, which I frequented for my scrap wood challenges and little odds and ends, but with all the wood I'm buying I've got cutoffs of my own piling up. I love to support a local small business, and City Hardwoods makes it easy to do so. I hope this place is around for a long long time
