The former Fountain Inn High School, now The Younts Center for Performing Arts, was built in 1939 and is on The National Register of Historic Places list. It served as a public high school for only 17 years, until the original Hillcrest High School was built in 1957. The building then became Fountain Inn Elementary School for the next forty years. Beginning in 1999 it started being used as a visual and performing art center for the city, changing its name in 2013 to The Younts Center for Performing Arts. Great job by the city of Ft Inn of preserving and re-purposing a historical landmark into a creative and useful building for the community.

The seating was relatively comfortable and had drink holders on the backs of the seats in front of you, just like a movie theater. The lighting was bright, so very easy to see your way to your seat. The interior appeared to be a little older since the doors and framing were hardwood, but that added to the charm. They allowed food inside since the floors were coated cement. The lobby area was reasonably spacious with a bar in the middle. They did not serve hot drinks, like coffee or hot cocoa. They did have sodas, beer and wine. Easy drop off circle area with an alternate drive through drop off on the side with an awning over the drive area. Plenty of parking in the back, but may have been shared with the library next door.

How much are tickets?
I think July 27th
If you call the Box Office, they should be able to help.
I think it depends on the show. Give them a call or check the website
Call the front desk during hours. Not sure if they do or not.
You can go on their website. However, I don't think they are posted yet.
Not much on mine, but you may want to contact the Younts center about theirs 😁
