My wife and I signed up for SSA benefits 6 months ago. Patty Bailey walked us through the process and she did an excellent job explaining all the steps we needed to do and what the next steps were going to be. I recently had a question about Medicare card that was sent to me and she returned my call and answered all my questions and helped me through the process of signing up for Medicare. Patty was extremely helpful and very professional.
Can I come there and change my address. It is a 40 minute hold on the phone and the online portal didnot work, I need it changed today.

Only way too set an appt. Is by phone. Call, wait your turn, set appt. They should be able to yell you what you need too know.

It is a scam. Social security will never contact you by phone. Always in writing

She can make 18,000 A year and not hurt what she gets from ss . I know cause I got to pay 330. Back to ss my kid worked to much at McDonald’s can u believed that and went to school full time .Her dad would be so proud

You have to present your I,D., Birth certificate for you and, your child to the Social Security office and apply for it before you can get one. You don't receive it automatically.

You can call and have it changed over the phone which can take a while due to waiting or you can go to the office and give them the information. They also have a website you can access as well.
