I have fond memories. It is adorable, but $6.99 extra for a mediocre salad bar. If you’ve ever been to a WI supper club, you’ll be very disappointed. The trout was tasteless. Maybe the burger is better?

Overall okay but emphasis on CASUAL fine dinning. Food was decent, but lacking fresh quality ingredients. Our server must have super super new because she didn’t know much about the place or menu. Bartender seemed knowledgeable but also was rambling with the owner and guest about politics. Not what you want to hear at dinner. $3.75 house old fashion and fairly priced dinner bumps it up to 3 stars. Would possibly try again on Fri/Sat as they had more available food options. Disclaimer: Husband is a yooper and would argue for 4 stars, unfortunately I’m from the city parts of Wisconsin and have higher expectations.

Tried the half bucket of fried chicken and it was about as bad as it could possibly be. Overcooked, dry and very little meat. The worst part of it is that the owner was 5 feet away and never once got up from the bar to see how we were. There was only two other couples there so far from busy.

So much more than we expected, great menu, better prices. We seriously felt under dressed coming in off a day on the lake. Service was great, nice boat up dock. Much nicer than we ever expected. Our server Natalie did a great job.

No. From the "About" page of the Mt. Shasta website: "After closing in 2015, in 2018 the restaurant was purchased and renovated by Scott Holman. "It's got a lot of history, a lot of memories, a lot of people have made friendships here and it goes back to a little family history that I have." In June of 2018, renovations began by stripping back to the studs, adding a new roof new floor, re-wiring, new plumbing, installation of all new modern appliances and redesigning the back-room layout. With the expert capable help and advice of Tom and Elizabeth Wahlstrom, 17 new staff members were trained and hired. In only three months after acquisition, Mt. Shasta re-opened for business on September 18, 2018."
