Please change your time on the website. My fiance and I went to get marriage license at 4:10 pm and we were rudely told that they close at 4 and not in the least bit accommodating to two people who get off work at 4 pm.

Questions & Answers

I have gotten a phone call from the phone number listed but they did not leave a voicemail. I am confused why they would call me. Is it possible it could have been a scammer using this number?

If it was the 329 5000 it could be anyone in the County swichboard. I believe we are pretty secure as far as scams but anything is possible. Give us a call during hours tomorrow 8-4 and we will do our best to help you.

You can search our online docket at this link: http://cp.onlinedockets.com/loraincp . If the case was filed in our court, you should be able to find out the divorce date. If you needed a certified copy of the divorce decree, there would be a small charge for that. Hope this helps.

Evictions are normally handled at the municipal court level. In some larger jurisdictions, Cleveland for example, there is a court dedicated to housing that may cover those.
