We were transient sailboats who needed a berth at the last minute due to some difficulties. We found a warm welcome at Hoffman's. We were given a slip on the fuel dock. The attendants were all helpful, but Jeff was especially helpful, as the tides sometimes made it difficult to get on or off the boat due to the height difference. Clean restrooms, great pool, friendly staff and regular slip holders.

We purchased a sportsman from Hoffman’s about 2 years ago. The initial sea trial and buying process was ok, but nothing special. They fell short with communication. We had a February delivery date and when I called in December to check on everything the salesman informed us it was going to be the end of July. I know the boating industry has been crazy the past few years, but the salesman should have let us know any delays in the build. We ended up calling Sportsman and dealing directly with them. Thank god we called the Sportsman’s representative in time with hearing about the delay because as we reviewed our order we discovered that most of the order was wrong. Aparently we weren’t the only customer upset with Hoffman’s. The rep informed us that most of the customers have called and complained. That’s probably why Sportsman dropped them as a dealership. When we signed for our boat we told our salesman we where upset with the lack of communication and the corrections that had to be made by the Sportsman’s representative. He actually went to rip up the contract and began cursing at us because he was “under stress”. It was by far the worst business transaction my wife and I have ever been involved with.

The beauty and amenities this marina has to offer are fully offset by the staff, who are extraordinarily arrogant, rude, have no understanding of safety or accountability.
