It is an honor to service this facility. They are an honorable and dedicated team who really do treat their employees and residents like family.

Boonton Care Center accelerated the process of my fathers passing because they were horrendous. The main staff that you deal with, female staff /cna/aides, were mean and always unavailable. I couldn’t find an aide for my dad when he was falling out of his wheelchair and I walked up And down the hallways looking for someone! I finally found not one, but ALL of them -on break-at the SAME time in one room!!! They were very relaxed, eating a buffet style meal, all laid out nicely, chatting away, and not a care in the world. Management terrible as well. They don’t have any training on how to deal with grieving family members, especially the new director. They have zero empathy. I saw so many things and heard the cNA’s say so many mean things. THE good people ate as follows and you see them rarely/as needed: The speech therapist Natasha is wonderful, Regan and Shelby in PT/OT are fantastic and Mustafa the aide is also great. The Phillipino ladies are super nice too in activities but they don’t deal with diapers, personal Hygiene, putting to bed or going to the patients room if they call: that’s the horrendous/non caring aides jobs. When you press your call button it’s not PT, activities or speech that comes it’s the aides. And the Aides are the worst And believe me they do not care if they do their job well or care at all. Umang Shah is not great at it Her Job as director or whatever her title is. She needs massive training. They treat it as storage facility for the elderly and the more drugged up your loved one is, the less they have to deal with them. The psychiatrist is overworked and you can see her about 1x a month if you’re lucky!! A month is an eternity in an elderly persons lifetime!!
