I was able to speak to an actual person on the phone when I had a problem with my service. She was very courteous and nice. A service man came to the house very next day. And he had the problem fixed before he knocked on my door. The service man was very nice and courteous also.

They do have an auto pay but it's old school. You fill out a form and give them a voided check...two months later they'll start taking it out of your checking account. Downside is you'll no longer get a paper statement-mucks up their autopay system. Seriously need to update their systems!
Update 2021: Kingston, PA offers Xfinity. I am a Technology Consultant in the area and deal with various providers. There aren't many choices. Xfinity Comcast is not permitted due to right of way and franchise agreements that your locality has with Service Electric. PM me on Twitter @t_lasota as there might be other options that are up and coming that the general public is not aware of yet.

I'm glad you asked that question Margaret, I'm not a representative or anything but I have been a customer for many years. As far as I know, there are no discount for us seniors. Hi David, and thank you for contacting Service Electric Wilkes-Barre. If you have a TiVo system, perhaps it is recording "TiVo Suggestions" and that needs to be disabled. If this is the case, and you’d prefer not to record TiVo Suggestions automatically, you can turn them off... Press the TiVo button and select "menu". Choose "settings" then "user preferences". Select "TiVo suggestions" and change to off. If this is the case, then you should be set. If not, please give our customer service team a call at 570-825-8508 and we can explore other options. Happens to ours after a update or if we get a power failure. It should come back on it's own but it takes a couple of hours.

I paid $175.00 up front they do a soft credit check if you don't pay your bills in time they charge the first month upfront.they suck so bad way overpriced ..you can get satellite with phone internet $100.

Go to the nearest Service Electric facility, return any boxes you may have, tell them to cancel it, and make sure you keep the receit.
