I am not a fan of what some of the creepy guys watch on the public computers for everyone to see! But other than that 5 stars

I like the Library so much, I volunteer there. Great place, friendly staff.

There was a line once of people waiting to check out and the person being waited on had to fill in a form. The library staffer refused to ask the person to step aside so he could help others while the form was being filled out (both sides). He just stood there and watched the guy filling in the form while everyone waited.
There is free parking behind the library. If that lot is full, there is a municipal parking lot directly behind that lot (metered parking at a nickel/hr). There is also parking (with meters) on Market Street in front of the library. The back lots are usually the best option.

Yes, it's open to go inside. They also have several different programs available. But I believe on certain days they close early around 2pm

Not sure, you should call them to make sure
Yes they do!
Yes, there is faxing available at the main desk area. Monday hours are 12-8.
Yes there is on Saturdays at 11 am, usually twice a month
There is not currently a book club for teens, however we would love to get one started! Talk to the Team members on the 2nd floor about options.
Yes, we do usually have open hours on New Year's Eve unless it is a Sunday.
Faxing is $1.00 for the first page, and 50 cents for each page after. Cover sheets are free if you need them.
We have newspaper databases and reference services that could help you find the archives you are looking for. To access them you will need to have a library card for Lancaster county (they are free for residents) and there may be a small fee depending on the details of the information you need, and the cost for printing if you need physical copies.
