I had a major surgery done at this hospital. The doctors did an outstanding job and the recovery experience was great… I am very grateful to the ICU nurses who were very attentive and professional. I can’t recommend this hospital highly enough.

Horrible place needs better customer service . Have been waiting for over three hours just to see a doctor . I work for the emergency room at a major hospital and I decided to come here because it’s in my town rather then drive to my job to be seen . What a mistake I should have just went to where I work . Unprofessional staff the doctor didn't come in the room to exam me and explained the little knew outside the room for everyone to hear . They also had a patient's family member outside my room door the whole time which gave me little privacy . The only good thing about my visit was my nurse Cynthia D. who was professional and the sweetest .

I think so
It Closes at 9pm. I work there in the emergency Department. After 9pm Valet will hand your keys to security, and they will have your keys until you are ready to leave.
Hello Connie, You can contact Good Samaritan Hospital's main line by dialing 854.368.5000. If you are looking for a specific department please refer to our website or remain on the line and an operator can direct you. https://www.goodsamhosp.org/.
Yes. You should receive this in the mail if you did not receive it upon discharge from the hospital. You may want to call the hospital and follow-up on the status of this document. Unless something has changed this document used to go home with the parents of the baby upon discharge. If it still has not come you can always call Rockland County Records Department or stop in their office in Nyack and request a copy.
Everybody's experiences are different I've always been treated fairly when I come to the hospital.
Have your doctor help you or there is a way to get a copy of your medical records
I'm sure there's more to the story. Contact a lawyer
Bring it just in case.
Enter through the emergency room entrance. There's a sign on the door in the ER registration area where you enter for the vaccine.
First, I would call your OBGYN to let them know you are in labor. The staff will be prepared to meet you when you arrive. You would come through the main entrance. The ER is used for all other patients. OB ER and the maternity wards are all located on the 5th floor of the hospital. Whoever brings you can being the car to the front and we have transport chairs in front that you can sit on as you go up to the fifth floor. All the very best of luck and wishing you a happy, healthy and safe delivery!

Hello Iris, For a certified copy of your nephew's birth certificate, contact the vital records office in New York state for instructions on how to request a copy and get information on any fees. You can contact them via this website: https://www.usa.gov/replace-vital-documents#item-36582. If you need to get a copy of your birth certificate quickly, ask the vital records office at the time you place your order about getting expedited service or shipping.
Yes, it will disperse staff to other sites and slowly close over the next year

Great question. I was able to find almost zero information on the cafeteria. What little there is indicates that visitors have access to the cafeteria during visiting hours. Since those cover a broad range - I will say that the Information desk is open from 8am to 8pm so possibly the cafeteria is available for food during that time. However it's possible that they do not do all food options during that time and are open in windows for breakfast, lunch and dinner similar to how theh do meals for the patient's but have limited service during the rest.
Yes. You can go through the County of Rockland Clerk's Office to search records. They have a website. From there you should be able to obtain your birth certificate and other information surrounding your birth record that may exist. Make sure you are search Rockland County, New York as there is a Rockland, Maine. Best of luck!
Depends on your relationship to the individual and the floor they are on. As a general guide 11am - 8:30pm but there are specific rules for different floors. But best to check the hospital website for floor specific hours.
