You call for a refill and they hang on you after over 10 min on hold. Then you call back and noone answers. I loved Publix but lately the customer service in this place is unacceptable.

I have always dealt with a Publix Pharmacy in my home town and they were amazing. They would call be Dr if needed and take care of any insurance issues that might come up. This pharmacy doesn't do anything. I feel like I have to jump through hoops to get my medicine. The other day they gave my husband someone elses medication, luckily we noticed and took it back. That could have been a serious problem. They need to pay attention to what they are doing.

Let me just start by saying, ZERO STARS if it was an option would be the amount of stars they get from me. The pharmacy is EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED and the staff is not knowledgeable of their jobs. And they seem to be fully staffed yet unable to fulfill basic pharmacy duties in a timely manner. I dropped off two prescriptions yesterday MORNING. MORNING. Asked if they had the medications in stock, the tech said yes. I go back at 6PM, no prescription is ready. AT THAT TIME, they were asked AGAIN if they had the meds in stock. Same woman, she said yes. I go back this AFTERNOON, only one of the medications is filled, (after I waited in line for 15 minutes because ONE PERSON MANNED THE REGISTER WITH A LINE FILLED WITH PEOPLE). The BLOOD PRESSURE Med that treats preeclampsia is not available until tomorrow when I’m no longer in this area. So now, I have to risk having a seizure from my blood pressure being high because publix pharmacy can’t seem to tell people that they won’t have the medication that was sent in the day before. You had a day and a half to get this prescription done or inform me of the lack of supply and yet I had to wait in three lines at separate times on separate days to be told I will have to wait another probably three days to receive my medication since I work 13-16 hour shifts and work the next three days. I would say I could hold this pharmacy liable for any medical issues that should arise from this experience since I asked on numerous occasions if the medication was in stock. It’s truly not hard to check an inventory count at a pharmacy. I work in healthcare and dispense medication myself, the inventory list is EASY TO CHECK.
