I would highly recommend Dr Ben. He and his staff have been a pleasure to work with. He quickly assessed my situation, formulated a wellness plan, and within only a few visits my back pain was gone. I can't say enough good things. Only wish I had found him sooner

Dr. Ben and his staff have given us such excellent care since we started our wellness plan with his practice. The treatment and education we have received has helped us understand our bodies mobility and how everything works together. It has opened our eyes and is securing us for a greater future for our health! We highly recommend Dr. Ben!

Got into a car accident and my lawyer found Dr.McDowell and he couldn’t have made it a better experience. He is professional and one of the kindest souls you will meet. He is very transparent about the process and even went above and beyond collaborating with my other doctors and giving me information when they were unresponsive. Definitely recommend!!!

This is a GREAT question, and we are always glad people ask. The answer is “it depends.” It depends on many things (age, how long ago the surgery was, what type of surgery was it, how many times has the surgery been done, where on the spine was the surgery done, etc.). The worst case I ever saw was a lady who had five different surgeries over the span of about 15 years, until the doctor told her he wouldn’t do any more so she lived in pain until we got her started on a treatment plan that got her back to living life normally. The second worst case was a gentleman who worked lawn care at a golf course and who had undergone 4 spine surgeries, none of which had gotten him to be able to function at work nor had they gotten him able to play with his grandbabies. After getting him adjusted, he got back to loving his playtime with the grands and not getting irritated at work. On the other hand, some people cannot get adjusted after surgery. It depends on the individual facts of the person. We recommend people call to schedule a no cost no obligation consultation to discuss their situation.
This is a great question, and we are glad when people ask! At the moment, the oldest patient we've ever adjusted is in his 90's. We do not pop, twist, or crack... we use a gentle instrument that feels like the back of a click-pen, so even very old folks with more brittle and fragile bones don't have to worry about any safety risks from the adjustment.
That is a great question, and we are glad you asked! An appointment at McDowell Chiropractic will ALWAYS be with the DOCTOR!
This is a great question! We LOVE getting this question asked. Our motto is "there is ALWAYS room for a patient!" We always offer a same day appointment when a person calls. They may have to wait a bit, or be worked into the schedule, but we will FIND a way if someone wants to come in that same day to get them seen by the doctor! If they want to schedule further out, they can do so. Access to care is a critical part of healthcare offices, this one in particular. Reference our question below about hours of availability and days of operation for the proof: open 6 days a week, open early, open late, open during most people's lunch hour, open weekends. We're here to SERVE.
