From the moment I was admitted it became so abundantly clear that the main concern was their own liability, not the patient. I get it in this world of TV lawyers on every channel they have to take caution, but they have taken that precaution to an incredible over reaction to the point where the patient suffers. When you are in the hospital and the only way to get your perscription meds is for someone to bring them to you there is a problem. I have no idea where the get these so called doctors aka Hospitalists, buf omg talk about useles. You never see them and if you want to see them forget it, they are MIA . I am not sure they are even physically there except in the morning. I feel sorry for the nurses . They are not allowed to do what they are trained to do m instead of them listening to these so called doctors, maybe they should be listening to the nurses, or the patient. OH yes, they make rounds but when they come you may be asleep and you never see them. This. Happened several of the 13 nights I was there. As for the nurses, they are better, but still not efficient. When you push the button for help they say they will tell the nurse, but the nurse claims she was never told. As for the food, I have a question. Why is it that they give you a menu when they rarely bring you what you asked for it had nothing to do with diet restrictions as it was I diabetic diet... even though I am not diabetic. They test you blood sugar several times a day and when your blood sugar is normal you might think they would get the clue. In closing I found thar if you have any pain issues or other medical issues where you need meds, BRING YOUR OWN, or better than that, stay home.

Had foot surgery at Crestwood. Was the best experience I've ever had at any hospital. All the staff from bottom to top were excellent 👍. They all seemed to genuinely care, and we're like this from the initial walk to the door, till they assisted me getting in my car. Can't say enough thak you's to everyone that I dealt with.

I have not experienced anything like this but I have some info to share that hopefully will be able to help. You may want to make a formal complaint against the nurse(s) who neglected to care for your loved one. You can do this with ease by Googling Alabama Board of Nursing. Go to their website and click on the link File A Complaint and go from there. Try to provide as much information as possible. If you don't know the nurse's full name just enter what you know Every complaint filed with the board of Nursing is taken VERY seriously and EVERY complaint is investigated. The nurse will receive notification by mail of the complaint filed and serious penalties can be placed on the nurse's license including suspension. I hope this helped some
Good job guys.👍 Instagram@Sabasck YouTube@Sabas vlogs
Go see your doctor. If you don't have one, or they are closed, go to an urgent care walk-in clinic. Lastly, go to the emergency room if it is bad enough. This forum is not designed to offer medical advice.
Generally, visiting hours are 9 am to 9 pm. ICU visiting hours are 9-11 am, 1-5:30 pm, and 8-9 pm. There may be some limitations in specific departments. Please check with patient nurse or charge nurse. Thank you.
Normally, one person can be in the waiting room while patient is having surgery. We continue to work to keep our patients and families safe while in the hospital by requiring masks and social distancing. Depending on the number of patients, sometimes we cannot allow waiting in the waiting area once the area is at capacity due to our efforts to maintain social distancing.
I agree but they can come and check him out
Yes
If you mean the Outpatient imaging center, its right in front of the hospital on Airport Road. If you're having an outpatient procedure done, then you'll just come to the hospital itself
If you go the Crestwood Medical Center website, they have a section on the website that says "Find A Doctor" just click on that and you should have no problems!! ☺
Call them and see. This is not the appropriate place to find out.
They used to have a detox but they do not anymore they will see you and they will find somewhere that will help treat you for Methadone addiction they found a place for me he may have to sit in the ER for 48 hours before they find somewhere but they will find somewhere
There's multiple faxs number depends what dept you want
Crestwood ER, Madison ER and Athens ER are typically very smooth and quicker than Huntsville main.
