This is the worst service. You can't reach them by phone, they have a computer that is programmed to disconnect the phone when you ask for a live person. They replaced my windshield and the first real rain we get, I get drenched. Found out that the tech did not finish the job, sadly enough, I found out the hard way. Spent all day trying to reach someone. Now I have to wait until Monday (36 hours) to go there in person. The storm is still here. On Monday, the I scheduled an appointment for Safelite to fix the problem. The date came and passed, no one called or showed.

We contracted Safelite to repair the back window of a Chevy Express van. It was a mobile repair order and the technician showed up at our location and replaced the window in about 5 minutes and then left. It was a small 2'x2' window. The window replacement was ok, but the service guy (Michael, ID 1808-357), left shattered glass everywhere (inside the van and outside on the ground. It was kind of unbelievable to see that. Not even an attempt to clean up. Nothing. We ended up cleaning it ourselves and almost cut ourselves on the sharp glass splinters. We spent more time cleaning up the mess he made, then the time it took him to replace the window. Not sure if that is a Safelite problem in general or just the Capitol Heights location. In any case, our advice would be to stay away from the Capitol Heights location. Not good at all. Very unprofessional.

Safelite showed up to my house early last Wednesday (exciting!) a few minutes later the tech calls be back out and says the wrong part was in the box so he can’t complete the job. He says someone will call me to set a new appointment. Today is Tuesday and not a word from them. Terrible customer service.

Yes, it is true! The customer service is only available via are recorded system. You'll need to physically come by to ask questions.
Give them a call or visit their website. Do you have full coverage? Your insurance might assist with the cost as well.

This place is amazing. I would definatley recommond for everyone to go there. Place clean, service is phenomenal.
They were great. The waiting room is comfortable and they had popcorn to snack on while you wait.

They like to make you sign things and pay them for stuff.
I don't know you will have to call them but if you want them to come to you don't cancel any plans they were supposed to come replace my window and called me 10 minutes before they were supposed to be here and told me i would have to bring it in by 3.
